Israeli Strikes Result in Seven Deaths in Gaza Amid Ongoing Conflict

Israeli airstrikes have resulted in the deaths of at least seven Palestinians across Gaza, according to local medical sources, amid ongoing violations of a ceasefire that was established last October. Three Palestinians were killed and several others injured in a strike on a home in Beit Lahiya, near Kamal Adwan Hospital, on Tuesday, as reported by a source at al-Shifa Hospital. Earlier that day, a drone strike in Khan Younis's al-Mawasi area killed one man and injured three others. Additionally, three other Palestinians succumbed to injuries from earlier Israeli raids in Khan Younis, as reported by Al Jazeera Arabic correspondent Nour Khaled. Two of these individuals had been injured in an attack on Monday, while the third had sustained injuries approximately two weeks prior. An Israeli military strike overnight into Tuesday also destroyed a warehouse that stored nutritional supplies intended for children, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers in Gaza, according to Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP). MAP stated that the explosion caused significant structural damage, burying the supplies under rubble. The warehouse belonged to Ard El Insan (AEI), a local humanitarian organization collaborating with MAP to support around 60 medical points serving up to 100 women and children daily. Sahar Salem, AEI's project coordinator, noted that the loss of these supplies would severely impact their ability to provide necessary services, especially given the ongoing humanitarian crisis. Dr. Munir al-Bursh, Director-General of Gaza's Ministry of Health, warned of a potential collapse of basic necessities due to critical shortages of oxygen supplies. He stated that only 12 out of approximately 34 oxygen stations remain operational and cautioned that any further breakdown could endanger patients' lives.
