<p>An incident at a theme park in Spain on Saturday resulted in a visitor suffering fractures to both legs after riding a Batman-themed roller coaster. Local reports indicate that the event caused panic among parkgoers.</p><p>The incident occurred on the Batman Gotham City Escape at Parque Warner Madrid, as stated by the park in a post on X. The 49-year-old rider reportedly sustained an open fracture in his left leg and a closed fracture in his right leg, according to Europa Press, which cited emergency officials.</p><p>The roller coaster, which opened in 2023, is noted as Spain’s first multi-launch roller coaster, featuring three launches that propel riders upward at high speeds and four inversions that leave riders briefly hanging upside down.</p><p>Park officials reported that the ride was immediately stopped and emergency procedures were activated.
