During the New York Comic Con on October 10, 2026, actor Brandon Rogers confronted a heckler during a panel for the animated series 'Helluva Boss' at the Javits Center. The incident began when the heckler interrupted show creator Vivienne Medrano multiple times while she was speaking. In response, Rogers, who voices the character 'Blitzo,' expressed his frustration, stating, 'You need to shut the f–k up right now. I swear to God I’m going to jump over this fence and end you. It’s not cute.'
As the heckling continued, Rogers stood up and approached the front of the stage, demanding the heckler leave, saying, 'You need to get the f— out right now or I will make you leave.' He also called for event staff, asking, 'Isn’t there someone in a vest? Bulletproof one, maybe?'
The heckler interrupted again during voice actor Vivian Nixon's discussion about motherhood, prompting Rogers to ask for assistance in removing the individual from the event. An audience member later reported that the heckler was escorted out.
A spokesperson for Comic-Con organizer ReedPop acknowledged the disruption, stating, 'We are aware of a repeated disturbance from a fan in the audience during Thursday’s “Helluva Boss” panel.' They apologized for the delayed response and indicated that measures would be taken to address similar incidents more swiftly in the future.
'Helluva Boss' is an adult animated series that follows a group of demons operating a hitman business in Hell. The panel included cast members Rogers, Nixon, Harvey Guillén, Erica Lindbeck, Bryce Pinkham, and Richard Steven Horvitz, along with moderator Perri Nemiroff. New York Comic Con continues through Sunday, featuring various stars.
