Samuel Bateman, 50, has received an additional 24-year prison sentence on state child abuse convictions, adding to his existing 50-year federal sentence for orchestrating child sex abuse. The state convictions stem from an incident in August 2022, during a traffic stop in Flagstaff, Arizona, where authorities discovered three girls aged 11 to 14 in an unventilated trailer. The trailer was equipped with a makeshift toilet, sofa, and camping chairs, and it lacked air conditioning and seat belts. Authorities were alerted to the situation after witnesses reported seeing small fingers reaching through gaps in the trailer doors.
