Knowles interpreted her actions as a signal that she is prioritizing her political career over starting a family. He stated, "What is she putting it off for?" and claimed that the egg freezing video could be seen as a presidential campaign announcement. He mentioned that Ocasio-Cortez is viewed as a leader within the Democratic Party, citing an interview with the Vice President who referred to her as the leader of the pack. Knowles described her as "the voice of the millennial generation" and expressed concern that her focus on career might lead to unhappiness. He also commented on the ideological shift within the Democratic Party, asserting that the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) have taken control. Knowles stated, "This fight that you’re supposedly having within the Democratic Party. It’s already done. It’s a fait accompli that the socialists took over the Democrat Party."
