Websites Linked to Antifa and Jane's Revenge Experience Outages Following Terror Designation

<p>Websites associated with Portland's Rose City Antifa and the militant abortion-rights group Jane's Revenge began experiencing outages after the U.S. State Department designated their Italy-based technology provider, Autistici/Inventati (A/I Collective), as a global terrorist entity.</p><p>Fox News Digital reported that the State Department's designation was based on allegations of A/I's support for violent far-left networks.</p><p>A State Department official stated, "Today’s news demonstrates the extent to which the A/I Collective was the digital infrastructure of the global Antifa terror network." </p><p>Following the designation, an unspecified number of servers and websites used by far-left extremists for planning violent actions and evading law enforcement were reportedly shut down.</p><p>Among the affected sites was Rose City Counter-Info, which the State Department claims was used by Rose City Antifa to publish personal information about Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) personnel and to organize violent activities against federal agents.</p><p>The State Department noted that the group utilized the site to distribute flyers encouraging supporters to use laser pointers against Customs and Border Protection helicopters. Federal records indicate that an individual later pleaded guilty to aiming a laser at a CBP helicopter, which forced the aircraft to abort a landing.</p><p>Jane's Revenge also allegedly used A/I services to publish statements claiming responsibility for attacks on pregnancy centers and to incite further violence, including the May 2022 firebombing of a crisis pregnancy center in Madison, Wisconsin.</p><p>The NoBlogs platform, hosted by A/I, was intermittently unavailable, with some pages accessible while others returned errors or timed out.</p><p>The State Department has not clarified whether any U.S. agency directly disabled A/I infrastructure or if the outages were due to decisions made by the collective or its users following the designation.</p><p>The sanctions imposed prevent Americans and U.S. financial institutions from conducting business with A/I and freeze any assets held under U.S. jurisdiction.</p><p>The State Department claims that A/I provided encrypted communication services, web hosting, and anonymity tools to violent left-wing groups in the U.S. and Europe. It also stated that a media organization using A/I services disseminated material from Hamas, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and Hezbollah.</p><p>A/I has denied the allegations, describing itself as "a small, volunteer-run, technology collective from Italy" that offers tools for "digital self-defense."</p><p>The group stated, "We will not back down. Antifascism and anticapitalism are not terrorism. Protesting is not terrorism."</p><p>A State Department official remarked that the terror designation of the A/I Collective significantly impacted the transnational far-left networks that have affected America and its allies.</p>
