<p class="wp-block-paragraph">U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deported Milo Yiannopoulos from the U.S. back to the United Kingdom.</p>
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">“On August 28, ICE deported Milo Yiannopoulos, an illegal alien from the United Kingdom, back to his home country. A day prior, ICE arrested Yiannopoulos at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) in Kenner, Louisiana,” the Department of Homeland Security stated in a press release.</p>
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Immigration officials deported Yiannopoulos on the same day that news broke of his arrest in Louisiana. The former Breitbart employee is accused of overstaying the visa he was legally given in May 2019, which shifted him to illegal status. He had initially entered the country through New York City.</p>
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Yiannopoulos had initially supported President Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and his immigration agenda, but he later fell from the alt-right commentary world and lost a book deal after an apparent defense of pedophilia.</p>
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Recently, Yiannopoulos had been working for Kanye West, who was performing in New Orleans on the day Yiannopoulos was picked up by ICE at the New Orleans-area airport, according to the Associated Press.</p>
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">“DHS reversed the horrendous Biden-era policy that allowed aliens in our country illegally to jet around our country,” DHS said in the statement. “Under President Trump, DHS will no longer tolerate this. This administration is working diligently to ensure that aliens in our country illegally can no longer fly unless it is out of our country to self-deport.”</p>
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After Yiannopoulos failed to appear in court at an immigration hearing, a judge issued a final order for his removal on July 22.</p>
