Keenan Allen Arrested on Multiple DUI Charges

Keenan Allen, a wide receiver for the Indianapolis Colts, was arrested early Sunday morning and is facing two DUI charges, according to Fox59 News. The charges include driving while intoxicated (DWI) and DWI endangering a person, both of which are misdemeanors in Indiana. The arrest occurred in downtown Indianapolis around 1 a.m. in the 100 block of S. Meridian Street. As of Sunday morning, the 34-year-old was being held at the Marion County Arrestee Processing Center, according to jail records. The Colts organization acknowledged the arrest, stating, "We are aware of the incident involving Keenan Allen last night. We are in the process of gathering more information and have no further comment at this time," as reported by ESPN. Allen signed with the Colts earlier this month on a one-year deal worth up to $8.32 million. He previously spent 11 seasons with the Chargers before being traded to the Bears in 2024 after a contract dispute. Last season, he returned to Los Angeles and recorded 777 yards on 81 receptions for four touchdowns. In a preseason game against the Lions on Saturday, he finished with one catch for 24 yards. Allen is entering his 14th year in the NFL, with the Colts set to open their season against Baltimore on Sunday, September 13.
