Lichtschein noted that Accurso accused Israel of committing genocide in its conflict with Hamas, citing her claim that "twenty thousand children have died" as evidence. He argued that genocide is a specific term that should not be used lightly, emphasizing that war is not synonymous with genocide and that Hamas initiated the conflict. Lichtschein expressed concern that Accurso's statements could incite hostility towards Jewish people globally.
He also mentioned that Accurso claimed her husband’s father is Jewish and expressed support for a Jewish state. In a statement to Fox News Digital, Lichtschein reflected on the conversation, noting that while Accurso identifies as a Zionist, her rhetoric could unintentionally contribute to hostility towards Jews.
