Graziano stated on "NFL Live," "I would say, based on everything I’ve been told, a Week 2 or 3 debut looks more likely than Week 1. But again, it’s still on the table." This uncertainty poses a challenge for the 49ers, who must prepare for the possibility of Donald's presence on the field. The Rams' defensive front, which includes Myles Garrett, complicates the 49ers' game plan as they must account for Donald's potential impact. Even if Donald does not play, the 49ers will need to prepare as if he might, which could provide a strategic advantage for the Rams. NFL Daily’s Jourdan Rodrigue noted that Donald's situation could create a psychological advantage, as opponents will have to adjust their preparations based on his unpredictable role. Donald participated in individual drills during his first practice on Sunday but took a planned day off on Monday. Rams head coach Sean McVay acknowledged that there is a possibility Donald could miss the opener but did not rule him out entirely.
