Milo Yiannopoulos, a British commentator, spoke with Piers Morgan about his recent deportation from the United States after being detained by immigration authorities. Yiannopoulos described his experience in custody, stating that he felt 'really, really terrified' and criticized how detainees are treated. He was arrested upon arrival at the New Orleans airport last Thursday and was taken to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility. Yiannopoulos, who overstayed his visa, claimed he was issued a deportation order after missing an immigration hearing. Tom Homan, a White House border official, stated that Yiannopoulos was responsible for his deportation due to his failure to appear in court. Yiannopoulos disputed Homan's claims and suggested that his changing political views may have influenced his deportation. He stated that he had filed for an adjustment of status to obtain a green card after marrying an American citizen, but claimed that the government canceled his application without proper notification. Yiannopoulos expressed his intention to challenge the deportation in court, describing it as 'unjust' and 'unlawful.' He also reflected on his past support for strict immigration policies and expressed shame for his previous views. Yiannopoulos's deportation follows a public feud with Laura Loomer, a Trump ally, who claimed credit for reporting him to authorities. He commented on Loomer's mental health, suggesting she poses more danger to herself than others.
