Bank of America Vice President Fatally Stabbed in Times Square

Erin Piacenti, 32, a vice president at Bank of America, was fatally stabbed in Times Square on Monday while returning home from work. Piacenti, who had recently returned from maternity leave, was attacked by 49-year-old Pamela Cisneros Lopez, who also injured a 68-year-old man before being shot by police. Piacenti was pronounced dead at a local hospital after suffering a stab wound to the abdomen. According to reports, she had just celebrated her second wedding anniversary and had given birth five months prior. Eyewitnesses described a chaotic scene as Lopez brandished two kitchen knives and threatened police officers.
