They claim that the article implies she was drinking during nights out with friends, even though it does not explicitly state this.</p><p>In response, MS Now has described Wilkins' claims as “unreasonable.” The network's filing notes that the article does not mention her drinking alcohol and acknowledges that she goes out with friends, some of whom may drink.</p><p>MS Now's lawyers assert that the article mentions only “at least two” incidents between spring and December, and nothing suggests habitual drinking. They have requested that a federal judge dismiss the suit or transfer it from Nashville to the District of Columbia.</p><p>Wilkins' team disagrees with this request, stating that the statements made in the article are capable of defamatory meaning and misrepresent her character.
