Rep. Suhas Subramanyam Claims FBI Wiretapped His Calls with State Legislator

<p>Rep. Suhas Subramanyam (D-Va.) stated on Thursday that he was informed by the Department of Justice that his phone calls with a Virginia state legislator were wiretapped in the spring.</p><p><strong>Background: </strong>Subramanyam is expressing concern over what he describes as a pattern of the DOJ targeting political opponents of President Trump, labeling the incident as "deeply concerning."</p><hr /><ul><li>In a statement, Subramanyam said, "They have politically investigated multiple states' Attorneys General and the former FBI director.
