<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>EXCLUSIVE — </strong>Tea Party Patriots Action, the largest Tea Party group in the United States, is training thousands of poll watchers and workers across several battleground states in preparation for the midterm elections.</p>
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The next training session will take place in Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada, a day after the Republican National Committee midterm convention concludes next week. Additional states targeted for training include Arizona, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, with previous sessions held in Ohio, Texas, and Georgia.</p>
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The training aims to educate local voters on election procedures, enable real-time reporting of issues, and enhance public trust in election outcomes, as stated by the group’s founder, Jenny Beth Martin, in an interview with the Washington Examiner.</p>
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Martin noted that in-person training is expected to reach between 800 and 1,000 individuals, while online training could engage 7,500 to 8,000 participants.</p>
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">“We want to ensure that Americans trust the outcome of the elections, and one of the best ways to do that is to have people who are present and can report what they observed, ideally without any irregularities,” Martin said.</p>
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Martin, who will attend the convention before heading to Reno, expressed that transitioning from the convention to the training would energize participants.</p>
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">“The attendees of the training likely did not attend the convention, so they will benefit from hearing insights from those who were there,” she added.</p>
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The trainings are being conducted in collaboration with various organizations, including Honest Elections Project, Save Our States, Turning Point Action, American Majority, Heritage Action, and American Constitutional Rights Union.</p>
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Tea Party Patriots Action has been training poll watchers since 2012, but has expanded its efforts following the 2020 election to bolster trust in the electoral process.</p>
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Election integrity is a key focus for the group, which has advocated for the Senate to pass the SAVE America Act, despite Senate Majority Leader John Thune’s assertion that the necessary 60 votes to overcome a filibuster are not present.</p>
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">“People across the country, especially within our base, are frustrated that the SAVE America Act did not become law,” Martin stated. “We are working to ensure that people understand that, even though it has not yet passed, there are other methods to help secure the election.”</p>
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Both political parties are preparing to address potential electoral or legal challenges during the election.</p>
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Former U.S. pardon attorney Ed Martin has left the Trump administration to focus on Republican legal strategies for the 2026 and 2028 elections. The RNC will operate hotlines in its 22 target states for voters to report issues on Election Day, along with an online portal at protectthevote.com.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Democratic National Committee is establishing a nationwide “voter protection infrastructure” that includes numerous lawyers and tens of thousands of election observers. For the first time, the DNC will have an internal litigation team led by director Dan Freeman, a former trial attorney at the Justice Department.</p>
<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Martin stated that for both political parties, “when it comes to election integrity, it’s all hands on deck from national groups, from state groups, and we work together towards the same goal.”</p>
