California Plane Crash Claims Lives of Family Members, Leaving Two Teens Orphaned

Craig Eady, 44, of Auberry, California, died from his injuries on Monday, just days after his wife, Danna Eady, 41, and their two youngest sons, Pavel, 10, and Remus, 13, were killed in a plane crash near Fresno. The crash occurred near Sierra Sky Park airport on Saturday at approximately 2 p.m. Emergency crews responded to the scene, where they found wreckage and flames on a bluff near the San Joaquin River. Danna Eady was a flight instructor and was reportedly flying the family to an airshow when the incident occurred. Nick Wilcox, a friend and fellow flight instructor, described her as a 'very special soul.' At the time of the crash, Craig Eady and Danna were critically injured, while their two sons were pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board. A secured perimeter was established around the wreckage to facilitate the investigation. The tragedy has left the couple's two eldest children, Lucien, 17, and Felicity, 18, orphaned.
