The videos were reportedly recorded by an employee, Sean Headley, who expressed concerns about the kitchen's safety after raising issues with management and corporate offices.</p><p>Headley, who started working at the restaurant in April, stated that he felt compelled to document the conditions due to what he described as unsafe working environments. He reported seeing cockroaches on the kitchen floor and food waste throughout the area.</p><p>After feeling that his concerns were not adequately addressed, Headley shared the videos online. In response, LongHorn Steakhouse issued a statement acknowledging the unacceptable conditions shown in the videos and indicated that they have been addressed. The company also mentioned that a new leader has been placed in the restaurant to maintain strict standards.</p><p>Headley expressed hope that the incident would prompt broader changes, including more frequent health inspections at Darden Restaurants-owned establishments and improvements in workplace conditions, such as repairing broken air conditioning systems.</p><p>Fulton County health officials plan to revisit the restaurant following the release of the videos. The Georgia Department of Public Health last inspected the East Point location on August 25, issuing a score of 90, categorized as an 'A.' Inspection records from the past two years indicate scores ranging from 88 to 91.</p><p>The videos have sparked online discussions, with many users criticizing the reported kitchen conditions and questioning how the restaurant had previously passed health inspections.</p>
