Sukhomlyn noted that while rifles were initially popular when the war began, shotguns are now preferred due to their effectiveness against drones. Zaporizhzhia, a city of 750,000, is strategically important and has faced aerial attacks, including drone strikes that have damaged infrastructure and injured civilians. Sukhomlyn's shooting range, located in an underground facility, offers training for civilians and soldiers, adapting to the evolving threat posed by drones.
