Images showing Japanese adult film star Hana Kuraki with cuts and bruises have reemerged following reports of her involvement in a hit-and-run incident months before her death. The images, posted by Kuraki on her public Instagram account to her 147,000 followers on June 24, depict her with severe bruises on her knees, wrist, and knuckles. This was two weeks after she announced on June 7 that she was taking a 'break for a while' from the adult industry. In a subsequent post on June 23, she mentioned that her 'injury hasn’t fully healed yet,' without providing further details. Her last post on X, dated September 5, expressed concern about experiencing daily headaches. Reports in Japanese media indicate that Kuraki was involved in an altercation with her ex-boyfriend, Shota Taira, around May 22. Taira allegedly visited Kuraki’s home after their breakup, forcibly entered, and seized two cell phones before attempting to leave in his Maybach. Kuraki reportedly tried to prevent Taira from leaving and was dragged by the moving vehicle. Initially, she described the incident as a traffic accident. Kuraki's death was announced on Sunday after her body was discovered in an apartment located in the red-light district. Authorities are treating her death as a suicide, and Taira is not facing any charges related to her death.
