Andy Cohen Apologizes for Comments About Julia Stiles' Dancing

On his show <i>Watch What Happens Live</i>, Cohen referred to himself as the "Jackhole of the Day" on September 17, 2026.</p><p>“Julia, I am so sorry,” Cohen stated during the episode.</p><p>In a segment from <i>Dancing with the Stars</i>, Stiles mentioned that Cohen’s comments about her dancing are “imprinted in her brain” and inspired her to participate in the competition.</p><p>The remarks in question originated from a September 2025 episode of SiriusXM’s <i>Radio Andy</i>, where Cohen asked Kerry Washington, “Can we all just agree that Julia Stiles is not the greatest dancer on the planet?” Washington, who starred alongside Stiles in <i>Save the Last Dance</i>, responded by questioning why people were critical of Stiles' dancing.</p><p>Washington told Entertainment Weekly, “To be honest, I stopped taking dance classes after that movie [<i>Save the Last Dance</i>] because people expected me to be a great dancer. That was beautiful, graceful. You are absolutely beaming. I love to see it.”</p><p>Cohen acknowledged his lack of authority in providing feedback on dancing, stating, “I am the last person who should be giving anyone feedback on their dancing. Case in point.” He then shared a video of himself dancing at a Grateful Dead concert. He concluded with, “Great job, Julia Stiles; you killed it tonight.
