Psychiatrist Raises Concerns Over Trump's AI-Generated Nuclear Posts

Abraham expressed that Trump's behavior could indicate a potential risk of catastrophe.</p><p>Abraham, known for his advocacy against nuclear threats, stated that Trump's actions necessitate an intervention by medical experts. He referred to a series of posts made by Trump in May, where he used AI to create images depicting himself in a command center, including one where he appears to press a large red button surrounded by explosions.</p><p>In May, Abraham was part of a group of psychiatrists who issued a statement declaring Trump “mentally unfit” to serve as president. He emphasized the importance of the “duty to warn” principle, which allows psychiatrists to take action if they believe a patient poses a danger to others. Abraham urged the 22 medical professionals involved in Trump's recent health assessments to act as whistleblowers.</p><p>Abraham characterized Trump as the most impulsive president in recent history, expressing concern over his control of the nuclear arsenal. He highlighted Trump's “attacks of rage” and referenced a post from April where Trump threatened that “a whole civilization will die tonight” in relation to Iran.</p><p>Abraham noted that Trump's public health has been questioned due to various physical and cognitive issues, despite Trump claiming in January that he was in “perfect” health following a cognitive examination.</p><p>In response to Abraham's comments, a White House spokesperson defended Trump, stating he is the “sharpest, most accessible, and energetic president in American history” and criticized Abraham's remarks as politically motivated.</p>
