The charges were filed on September 8 and could result in a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison if Peters is convicted. Court records indicate that the victim's identity is not disclosed due to Massachusetts laws regarding sexual violence.
The allegations align with a civil lawsuit filed against Peters by fellow influencer Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza, also known as Alorah Ziva, in April 2026. Mendoza claims that Peters invited her to his family home in Cape Cod under the pretense of furthering her career, but then allegedly provided her with excessive alcohol and engaged in sexual acts without her consent.
Mendoza's lawsuit alleges that Peters had sex with her while she was intoxicated and again while she was asleep. Following the incident, Peters reportedly sent Mendoza home in an Uber and did not contact her for six months.
Peters has publicly denied the allegations, referring to Mendoza's lawsuit as petty and claiming that he is able to refute her claims. His legal team has filed a motion to dismiss several counts of the civil lawsuit. A representative for Peters stated that the sexual assault claim was added to the lawsuit after it was initially filed. Peters is scheduled to be arraigned on October 14, 2026.
