Influencer Clavicular Charged with Rape and Drugging Minor

Clavicular, an influencer known for promoting the 'looksmaxxing' movement, has been charged with rape and drugging a person for sex involving a minor in Massachusetts. According to The Bulwark, Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Peters, was charged on September 8 in a Cape Cod courthouse with one count each of rape, drugging a person for sex, and providing alcohol to a minor. The charges are linked to an incident alleged to have occurred on May 23, 2025. Peters, 20, has not been arrested and is scheduled for arraignment on October 14. A conviction for rape could result in a prison sentence of up to 20 years, and a conviction on either the rape or drugging charge would require him to register as a sex offender. The criminal charges align with allegations made in a civil lawsuit filed in Florida by influencer Aleksandra Mendoza, known as Alorah Ziva. Mendoza claims she was 16 when she met Peters in 2025 and that he paid her $1,000 to appear in his videos. The lawsuit states that Peters later arranged for Mendoza to travel to his parents' home in Cape Cod, where she was allegedly given alcohol before being invited into his bedroom. Mendoza alleges that Peters had sex with her while she was intoxicated and unable to consent. The lawsuit further claims that Peters injected her cheeks with a fat-dissolving substance months later in Miami, which allegedly caused injury to her right cheek. The Bulwark notes that Peters has gained wider recognition as 'looksmaxxing' was recently added to the Merriam-Webster dictionary.
