Alan Ritchson Claims Studios Discouraged Him from Discussing Politics

<p>Actor Alan Ritchson, known for his role in 'Reacher', stated that production studios have discouraged him from discussing political topics publicly. Stop talking in public.’" He added, "I mean, but it’s not chaos I’m after. It’s actually the opposite of chaos. I’d like a little — I’m not going to get into it. You don’t want to see my rants starring these g------ f------ politicians everywhere."</p><p>Ritchson mentioned that Sony advised him against speaking out, stating, "I’m not going to do it. Sony told me not to. And I’m not going to say anything. Not today. Not today, [Jeffrey] Epstein." In a recent comment on Threads, he responded to a fan's disappointment about the adaptation of a book where Jack Reacher confronts a White supremacist militia camp, indicating he had pushed for this storyline but was declined, attributing it to political factors related to President Donald Trump's re-election.</p><p>Ritchson has previously criticized conservative Christians for their support of Trump, stating in an interview, "Trump is a rapist and a con man, and yet the entire Christian church seems to treat him like he’s their poster child, and it’s unreal." He also expressed that he has faced backlash for his views, saying, "If you want to see violence flee the world, be more generous to everybody! That is the Christian ethic! That is what I don’t see happening.
