Tyler Mane Discusses Complications from Breast Cancer Treatment

The 59-year-old Canadian actor reported that after completing four rounds of chemotherapy, doctors discovered a blood clot.</p><p>“They found the blood clot after I rang the bell,” Mane stated in a September 22 interview with Us magazine, ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. “But we’re dealing with it. He expressed concern about the potential risks associated with the clot, stating, “You start thinking, ‘Are we taking care of this? He has two grown children from a previous marriage.</p><p>According to the American Cancer Society, more than 2,600 men are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2026, with about 530 men projected to die from the disease. The average age at diagnosis is between 60 and 70 years.</p><p>Mane also revealed that he has a mutated BRCA2 gene, which increases the risk of developing cancer.
