Georgia man charged with murder after dismembered remains found in car trunk

<p>Police in Georgia charged 18-year-old Kingston Lammar Bradley with malice murder on September 26, 2026, after discovering trash bags filled with dismembered remains in the trunk of his car.</p><p>Witnesses reported seeing Bradley walking in his apartment complex with a container. When he noticed he was being observed, he dropped the container and fled into his apartment, according to Smyrna Police Lt. Meredith Holt during a news conference.</p><p>Witnesses called the police after finding human remains inside the container, Holt stated.</p><p>Police had previously responded to Bradley's residence after the family of a missing woman reported that her car and phone were located there, but they did not execute a search warrant at that time.</p><p>After the remains were discovered, police returned with a search warrant for Bradley’s vehicle and found a garbage bag that was tightly pulled, showing the outline of a body part, as detailed in a news release from the department.</p><p>The Cobb County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed that the bags contained human remains.</p><p>Smyrna Police Chief Keith Zgonc identified the victim as Shanteria "KT" Mosley, whose family had reported her missing.</p><p>Holt confirmed that Mosley was a DoorDash worker and noted that the company informed police she had not been working on the day she went missing, according to a report from affiliate FOX 5 Atlanta.</p><p>Police have not yet determined the connection between Bradley and the victim, Holt indicated.</p><p>Holt described the crime as particularly gruesome, stating, "This is a shocking crime, I don’t know how else to describe it. I’ve been in law enforcement for 25 years and I have been a part of multiple homicide cases and I’ve worked crimes against children for 16 years, and this is a particularly gruesome crime."</p><p>Police are actively searching for additional human remains, Holt added.</p><p>Bradley is also facing charges for concealing the death of a person.</p><p>Holt mentioned that police had been called to Bradley's apartment multiple times in the past for domestic disputes, but there was no indication that he was capable of a murder of this nature.</p><p>Bradley appeared in Cobb County Magistrate Court on Thursday, where a judge denied him bond. His next court hearing is scheduled for October.</p><p>Fox News Digital contacted the Smyrna Police Department and DoorDash for further comment.</p>
