A former radio host has filed a lawsuit accusing New Jersey rapper Keyon Hart, also known as Snake IIz, of raping her while she was intoxicated and barely conscious in a Coney Island hotel room on July 4, 2025. Domonique Hayes, 40, claims that Hart, 45, ignored her repeated requests to stop during the alleged assault. The lawsuit, filed on September 11 in Manhattan Supreme Court, states that Hart attempted to intimidate her by boasting about having a gun and claiming he was a "pimp."
After the incident, Hayes confronted Hart, who reportedly apologized but then suggested that she was not raped, but rather regretted the encounter. Hart allegedly sent her Instagram messages stating, "I’m sorry . . . the alcohol got the best of me." In response to the allegations, Hart denied the claims, stating, "None of it’s true, she’s a liar," and mentioned that there were messages from Hayes expressing interest in him, although he did not provide those messages to the press.
Hart is known for his collaborations with notable artists such as Tupac Shakur and Killah Priest, and has a following of over 70,000 on Instagram. Hayes claims to have known Hart since 2016 when she interviewed him for her web-based radio show, and they became friends after she moved to New York in 2019. The lawsuit alleges that Hart kept her in his circle with promises of music collaborations and unpaid modeling work for his clothing brand, Soldi Sporchi.
On the day of the alleged assault, Hayes and Hart had been celebrating the Fourth of July and Hart's birthday. The complaint states that Hayes felt comfortable going to Hart's hotel room because he had previously stayed at her home without incident. After consuming alcohol, Hayes reported feeling disoriented and claimed that Hart assaulted her while she was in and out of consciousness. She is seeking unspecified damages, as well as compensation for her modeling work. Hayes's lawyer stated that they support all women who have been abused and highlighted the exploitation of women in vulnerable situations.
