Pro wrestler Pac found dead in Illinois after AEW match

<p>Benjamin Satterley, known in professional wrestling as Pac, was found dead in Illinois on Sunday, September 28, 2026, shortly after competing in the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) National Championship at All Out. The Des Plaines Police Department reported that there were no indications of foul play and the circumstances surrounding Satterley’s death were not considered suspicious. The cause of death is to be determined by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.</p><p>AEW announced Satterley’s death late Sunday, which elicited shock and disbelief within the professional wrestling community. "All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac," the company stated. Satterley, a native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, began his wrestling career in 2004 and performed for various wrestling organizations worldwide, known for his high-flying moves and in-ring skills.</p><p>Pac signed with AEW in 2019, where he held multiple championships and participated in notable matches. AEW owner Tony Khan paid tribute to Satterley, stating, "Benjamin Satterley defined excellence, as a beloved husband & friend to his many loved ones, + in his wrestling knowledge, skill, unprecedented athleticism, professionalism, consistency + dedication to the sport that he loved & traveled the world to pursue. May Ben rest in peace."</p><p>Satterley was reportedly found unconscious outside a CAVA restaurant around 4 p.m. local time, with a responding official indicating he was dead upon arrival. He was 40 years old and one of the first wrestlers to join AEW in 2019, holding the titles of two-time trios champion and inaugural all-Atlantic champion.</p><p>Prior to his time in AEW, Satterley wrestled in WWE under the name Adrian Neville, where he was a two-time cruiserweight champion, NXT champion, and two-time NXT tag team champion. WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque also expressed his condolences, stating, "Saddened to hear about the death of Ben Satterley known in @WWE as Neville.
