Passengers were reportedly offered at least $300 in onboard credit as compensation, with the amount varying by cabin type. Some passengers expressed satisfaction with the change, with comments on Reddit indicating that the credit was appreciated. Others, however, expressed disappointment about missing planned excursions to the Chacchoben ruins, a Maya archaeological site near the port.
