Nidhi Tiwari, former Miss Pretty India, found dead at 30

Nidhi Tiwari, a former Miss Pretty India winner and social media influencer with 1.6 million followers, was found unresponsive in her home in Singrauli and pronounced dead on Sunday. Authorities are investigating her death as a possible suicide, according to the Indian outlet Hari Bhoomi. Just hours before her death, Tiwari had an argument with a Punjab-based engineer she had been in contact with for two-and-a-half years. She reportedly locked herself in her room and refused to eat, despite her family's pleas. A social media post she made prior to her death discussed self-love, stating, "No one has fulfilled this incomplete heart. I have [fulfilled] it with myself. [This] is why you should love yourself." Investigators are also examining the circumstances surrounding her death, including a note found in her home and the content of her social media posts. Tiwari had aspirations of becoming an actor and model and was known for her dance reels, with one of her last videos featuring the song "Nadi Biche Naiya Dole." An investigation into her death is ongoing.
