Dutch Police Arrest Suspected Leader of ShinyHunters Hacking Group

The arrest occurred on September 15th, shortly before the group claimed to have breached the FBI's website and stolen employee data, as reported by Reuters.</p> <p class="wp-block-paragraph">While Dutch authorities and the FBI have not publicly named the suspect, Krebs on Security and Reuters report that the arrested individual is Pepijn van der Stap, who has a prior conviction for data theft and extortion.</p>
