<p>Doug Ellin, the creator of the HBO series “Entourage,” has expressed his support for Spencer Pratt in the Los Angeles mayoral race, citing logical reasoning behind his endorsement.</p><p>Ellin shared his perspective on social media, stating that he became more security-conscious after experiencing a burglary at his Beverly Hills home. He noted that he now has multiple security measures in place, including cameras and dogs. In his video, he described the intruders as 'animals' and emphasized the need for stricter consequences for home invaders.</p><p>He remarked, “Everyone in my neighborhood has got the same problem: they’re all putting cameras and high-end security guards because we’re all getting broken into. It’s not made up, it’s not false, and this city has collapsed in the last five years.”</p><p>Ellin also defended Pratt against criticisms regarding his lack of political experience, comparing him to current politicians and expressing a desire for change in the city. He stated, “We want to fix this place because we don’t want to be forced out.”</p><p>His comments appear to be a response to a Los Angeles Times article discussing crime in the city. Pratt, who is polling second in the mayoral race behind Karen Bass, shared Ellin’s video on social media. Despite an increase in his polling numbers, Pratt faces challenges in a predominantly Democratic city, where the last Republican mayor was elected in 1997.</p>
