<p><strong>ASHBURN, Va.</strong> — Residents of Statesboro Place in Loudoun County, Virginia, are experiencing changes in their suburban environment due to the construction of data centers operated by Amazon Web Services and Microsoft. The facilities, which are part of the growing artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure, have introduced noise and visual changes to the neighborhood.</p><p>Residents report ongoing mechanical noise from the data centers, which are located approximately 150 feet from their homes. One resident mentioned that while some trees have been planted to mitigate the noise, the issue persists. A Microsoft spokesperson stated that the company is engaging with local homeowners' associations (HOAs) to address community concerns related to landscaping, lighting, and noise.</p><p>Amazon also emphasized its long-standing presence in Loudoun County and its commitment to being a responsible neighbor.
