Timothy Mellon Donates Connecticut Properties to Children's Health Defense

Timothy Mellon, a significant donor associated with former President Donald Trump, donated two properties in Connecticut to Children's Health Defense, an organization founded by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The properties, located in Lyme, total approximately 300 acres and were appraised at $5.5 million. The donation was made last August, with Mellon agreeing to cover maintenance costs while retaining access to certain areas, including a family cemetery. Mellon has previously made substantial donations to Trump-related causes and has also contributed to Kennedy's presidential campaign. The Health Department, the Mellon Foundation, and Children's Health Defense did not respond to requests for comment.
