Zach Bryan Wears 'Free Palestine' Shirt During Concert at Gillette Stadium

Country singer Zach Bryan wore a black T-shirt with the message "FREE PALESTINE" during his concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on October 2, 2026. This event occurred one month after Macklemore faced backlash for his remarks regarding Israel during his performance at MetLife Stadium. Bryan's shirt featured a pine tree and the phrase "AN APPEAL TO HEAVEN," referencing a historical American Revolutionary campaign. Several band members also wore Palestine-themed clothing, including guitarist Noah Le Gros, who donned a green Palestine soccer jersey. The concert was part of Bryan's "With Heaven on Tour" and marked the beginning of a two-night run at the venue. The controversy surrounding Macklemore's performance involved NFL owners expressing concerns over his political statements, leading to his removal from the tour after he continued to speak on the issue despite assurances to the venue owners. Macklemore later initiated his own "Free Palestine" tour in Europe. Kraft and Sheeran, who have a longstanding relationship, agreed to donate to Palestinian relief efforts following the events surrounding Macklemore's performance.
