<p>A shooting at a neighborhood block party in South Georgia resulted in two fatalities and 35 injuries early Sunday morning, according to officials. </p><p>Over 1,000 attendees were present when more than 50 shots were fired in at least two locations approximately a block apart in Vienna, Georgia, as reported by Dooly County Sheriff Craig Peavy.</p><p>Deputies were patrolling the area around 1:25 a.m. when the gunfire erupted on the 900 block of Pine Street, prompting a request for assistance from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI).</p><p>Two individuals were pronounced dead at the scene due to gunshot wounds.
