Nick Pasqual was sentenced on June 3, 2026, to over 30 years in prison for the stabbing of his ex-girlfriend, Allie Shehorn, in 2024. A Los Angeles court found Pasqual guilty of attempted murder and forcible rape after he stabbed Shehorn more than 20 times at her home in Sunland. He was also convicted of first-degree residential burglary and multiple counts of injuring a spouse or partner.
Pasqual, 36, was arrested for domestic violence on May 18, 2024, and released on a $50,000 bond. Shehorn had filed a restraining order against him shortly before the incident. During the trial, Shehorn testified about the attack, describing how Pasqual broke into her home and assaulted her. She sustained severe injuries, requiring 14 hours of surgery and a stay in the intensive care unit.
After the attack, Pasqual fled California and was detained at the U.S.-Mexico border in Sierra Blanca, Texas.
