Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns contributed 21 points and 13 rebounds, while Brunson and Mikal Bridges each added 20 points. The Knicks have now won 13 consecutive games, marking the second-longest playoff winning streak in NBA history. This victory places the Knicks among only three teams to win the first two games of the finals on the road, alongside the 1993 Chicago Bulls and the 1995 Houston Rockets, both of which went on to win championships. Wembanyama scored 29 points for the Spurs, who managed to erase a 12-point deficit in the fourth quarter. The series will continue with Game 3 at Madison Square Garden on Monday night.
