Toledo police continue manhunt for suspects in festival shooting

<p>A manhunt for the individuals who wounded twelve people near a street festival in Toledo, Ohio, entered its third day on Monday without any arrests. Toledo police reported that investigators are tracking multiple leads.</p><p>In a social media update on Sunday, police stated that they were making progress on these leads and urged festivalgoers to provide any photos or videos that may have captured the suspects.</p><p>Officers responded to a report of a shooting around 5:37 p.m. on Saturday at the Old West End Festival, where many attendees were enjoying live music, food vendors, and home tours. Upon arrival, they found multiple individuals with gunshot wounds.</p><p>All twelve victims were reported to be in stable condition and improving as of Sunday. The victims' ages ranged from 14 to 61, with most in their early 20s.</p><p>Toledo Deputy Chief Joseph Heffernan stated during a news conference that investigators believe the shooting involved at least two gunmen who were likely shooting at each other. Authorities have not released descriptions of any suspects or identified a possible motive.</p><p>Lucas County Prosecutor Julia Bates emphasized that justice will be pursued vigorously, stating, "Those who were frightened, traumatized or harmed by this violence will remain at the forefront of our efforts." Bates also expressed a personal connection to the incident, noting, "This is my home. These are my friends and neighbors.
