Putin Relocates Daughters and Grandchildren to Secure Palace Amid Security Concerns

Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered his two eldest daughters, Maria Vorontsova and Katerina Tikhonova, along with their children, to move to his Valdai forest palace complex, which is heavily guarded. This decision follows concerns about potential assassination attempts. The estate, located approximately 230 miles northwest of Moscow, also houses Putin's partner, Alina Kabaeva, and their two sons. Security measures at the complex have been significantly increased, now featuring 27 air-defense towers, up from seven two years ago, and includes a subterranean bunker. These enhancements come as Ukrainian drone strikes have reportedly advanced deeper into Russian territory.
