Mustafa Suleyman, head of AI at Microsoft, has clarified his earlier statement regarding the impact of AI on white-collar jobs such as those of lawyers, accountants, and project managers. During a recent episode of the podcast 'Decoder,' Suleyman stated that AI will assist these workers in completing tasks rather than fully automating their roles. He explained that while sub-tasks like sending emails and creating presentations may become automated, this does not imply that the overall job will disappear. Instead, he suggested that the work could be performed more quickly and efficiently.
