Police Respond to Apartment Fire in St. George, Utah

On June 7, residents of an apartment complex in St. George, Utah, were alerted to a fire in their building by officers from the St. George Police Department. Bodycam footage shows officers entering apartments to wake residents, with one officer urging a family to evacuate, stating, "Hey, you guys, your unit's on fire, you need to get out!" Officers also used a ladder to rescue a man trapped on the second floor. Eight officers were treated for smoke inhalation but have since been released from the hospital. The fire originated in one unit and spread through a shared attic, affecting a total of 20 units, according to reports from local news outlets.
