Six men have been charged with kidnapping and conspiracy to commit kidnapping after allegedly abducting two individuals at the Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort in Florida on the night of May 29. The suspects, identified as Saul Alfonso Fajardo, 19, Justin Phihoang Le, 20, Amari Tamire Hill, 21, Anthony Teruel Hernandez, 18, Marikevies McNichols Jr., 19, and Weilen Hernandez, 20, reportedly forced the victims into cars at gunpoint. According to court documents, one suspect threatened a victim's life and demanded money, while another victim was held at gunpoint in a separate vehicle.
The victims were taken to a location referred to as "the spot," where they were allegedly robbed of personal belongings and threatened with torture. One victim was forced to send $400 through Zelle, while both were coerced into stripping down to their underwear. The suspects expressed concerns about a victim's ankle monitor potentially revealing their location to authorities. Eventually, one victim managed to escape and seek help, while law enforcement recovered burned clothing and other items at the scene. Surveillance footage is also part of the investigation.
