In a campaign advertisement, he stated, "Hi, Donald. It's me, George Conway. I cost you 88 million dollars, and I've only just gotten started," and added that he aims to ensure Trump faces criminal prosecution. The White House responded by suggesting Conway is suffering from "Trump Derangement Syndrome." Conway's campaign did not clarify the specific conduct he believes warrants impeachment. The Democratic leadership has not yet endorsed another impeachment effort should they regain control of the House. Conway is currently trailing behind other candidates in the primary race, according to a recent poll. He is known for co-founding the anti-Trump organization, the Lincoln Project, and was previously married to Kellyanne Conway.
