One person has died following a shooting at Wilmington Hospital in Delaware on Tuesday, where a gunman shot two individuals, according to police. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m., and authorities are currently searching for the shooter.
The identities of the victims have not been released, and the condition of the second victim is unknown. Police Chief Wilfredo Campos stated in a press conference that the suspect is still at large, but the lockdown at the hospital has been lifted.
Campos emphasized that there is no justification for violence, and investigators are committed to apprehending the suspect. Delaware State Police and FBI personnel were present at the scene, but the suspect has not yet been identified.
