Prosecutors grant limited immunity to Tyler Robinson's roommate and partner

Lance Twiggs, the roommate and romantic partner of Tyler Robinson, who is accused of attempting to assassinate Charlie Kirk, received limited immunity for a statement made to authorities in April. According to a court filing from prosecutors, Twiggs was granted 'use-immunity' for a recorded statement he provided on April 20, 2026. Prosecutors intend to use this statement and Twiggs' communications with Robinson during the preliminary hearing scheduled for July. The filing states that Twiggs was informed that any false statements could lead to charges of obstruction of justice. The immunity granted means that his statements from the April meeting cannot be used against him.
