Marjorie Taylor Greene stated that President Donald Trump blamed her for death threats directed at her son, saying, "It’s your fault and you deserve it." Greene shared this information during an appearance on SiriusXM’s "Straight Shooter with Stephen A." She mentioned that she had sent Trump the death threats she received regarding her son and expressed that threats against children are unacceptable, attributing the situation to Trump's words.
Greene indicated that she was surprised by Trump's response, as they had previously been allies. The rift reportedly began after she supported the release of the Epstein files, suggesting that there is hidden information that the public does not know. Greene also mentioned that she entered Congress with little political experience and described herself as naive, stating that she did not expect Trump to turn against her.
Additionally, Greene claimed that Trump pressured her to withdraw support for a discharge petition, describing the pressure faced by lawmakers involved in the effort. She named Thomas Massie, Nancy Mace, and Lauren Boebert as colleagues who also faced similar pressure.
