Concertgoer dies after fall at Madison Square Garden during Goose performance

A 51-year-old man died after falling during a Goose concert at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, according to the New York Police Department (NYPD). Police received a 911 call reporting an injured male at the venue shortly before 10 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found the man unconscious and unresponsive, with injuries consistent with a fall from an elevated position. Emergency medical personnel transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was pronounced dead. The man reportedly fell from the 300 level section of the arena, which includes upper-tier seating. He was attending the concert with his wife. The band expressed condolences to the victim's family, stating they were deeply saddened by the incident. MSG Entertainment also released a statement expressing sadness over the loss of a fan and stated that they are awaiting the police report on the incident.
