Three Wendy's Employees Arrested for Allegedly Tampering with Customer's Food

Three Wendy's employees in South Carolina were arrested for allegedly taking food from the trash and spitting on it before serving it to a customer who had complained about her order. Aaliyah Shuntai Sanders, 23, Trinity Lashell Rice, 19, and Shadela Crystal Holley were charged with tampering with a food item following the incident at a Wendy's in Union. The arrests occurred between June 16 and June 22. The incident took place on May 31 when a customer experienced an issue with her meal and requested a refund. After the staff offered to remake her order, the customer later received a call informing her that her food had been tampered with. Upon checking, she discovered that the new order was the same as her initial one. The customer reported the incident to the police, and the restaurant manager confirmed that the employees involved had been written up.
