Sadie Sink, known for her role in *Stranger Things*, has criticized audience behavior during theater performances. Currently performing in *Romeo & Juliet* on London's West End, Sink expressed her frustration with audience members using their phones during shows. In an interview with Nylon, she stated, "The lights go off, and then I just see all these faces in the audience because everyone is turning their phone on. I’m like, ‘Guys, give it a minute. Take it in for a second!’" She added that seeing multiple phones in the audience fills her with "so much rage."
Sink's concerns about theater etiquette are echoed by other actors. Recently, Rosamund Pike confronted an audience member for texting during a performance of *Inter Alia*, leaving the audience stunned. Other notable actors, including Imelda Staunton and Daniel Craig, have also voiced similar complaints regarding audience behavior. Isa Briones from *The Pitt* highlighted the issue on Instagram, urging audience members to respect performers and the shared space of the theater.
